Yuhchang was established in April 1967. It is one of large capacitor professional manufacturers in Taiwan. The capital is NT$80,000,000 (US$ 2,400,000). Main products include power capacitors, dry type capacitors, high and low frequency capacitors, reactors, automatic capacitor banks, and automatic power factor regulators.
For many years, YUHCHANG bases on the management concept of studying, researching, pring forth new ideas, and seeking improvement. Under the whole member making efforts, the improvement of product quality and the enhancement of production technique had been got great achievements. In 1972, it was granted as a qualified factory by Taiwan Power Company (TPC). In 1977, it was granted as a 'Grade A' on quality management and qualified export factory by Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA). In 1978, high and low voltage power capacitors were granted marking by MOEA. In the same year, it had achieved success in developing Non-PCB high voltage capacitors. In 1979, it was successful to manufacturing box style motor run capacitors. In 1987, motor run capacitors were granted UL and VDE approvals. In 1994, it was certified as an ISO-9002 company by MOEA. In 2001, high voltage power capacitors with internal fuses were successful to be developed. In 2002, it was certified as an ISO-9001:2000 company by MOEA.
