Our specialty and focus is high technology products that store goods in an inert environment; inert to the extent that a vacuum is formed within the storage enclosure. We market this unique range of storage products internationally under the vacuumsaver brand.
We have a modern product design and development facility based in Taiwan area with manufacturing taking place in China. Our endeavor is to respond to the evolving demands of our customers and consumers by providing new product innovations on a continuous basis.
Concise Living was established in 1996 as the product-orientated subsidiary of a plastics manufacturer which originated in 1985. Since then, we have been trading successfully with our own range of vacuumsaver storage products.
vacuumsaver products are largely aimed at foodstuffs, but we have also developed and marketed specialized products for storing such valuable things as violins, electronics and cameras, as well as optical devices such as lenses and media.
By creating a vacuum, we are able to slow down and limit any deterioration caused by oxygen, moisture or dust, and even certain oxygen- or moisture-loving bacteria. The result is that foods stay fresh for longer (usually between two and five times, depending on the food type and how fresh it was originally). Electronics and optical products benefit from being in the oxygen and moisture controlled storage.
In addition to keeping everything tidy, these products reduce or eliminate waste. Governments in the USA and Europe have estimated that up to 1/3rd of fresh food are thrown away. Such huge amounts of food waste in landfill is especially worrying as it gives off methane gas, which is known to be 23 times more damaging to the environment than CO2.
Therefore, our unique vacuumsaver products help households to save money by reducing food waste and by reducing the number of trips to the shops. As a result, the carbon footprint of the typical household is also greatly reduced. Consumers are increasingly proud to be seen to be doing their bit for the environment.
At Concise Living, we are also proud.
