KUGC (King Union Group Corp.) is a transnational group which has branch companies as JL-Biochem Co., Ltd., Uvita Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd., Uchemi Co., Ltd. and Utight Glue & Cellulose Co., Ltd.
The predecessor of KUGC is King Union Imp & Exp Co.,Ltd founded in 1997 ,and mainly engaged in the import and export business of starch and starch derivatives .
KUGC was created in 2001 through the merger of King Union Imp. & Exp. Co.,Ltd. and JL-Biochem Co., Ltd.. JL-Biochem is manufactuer of starch and starch derivatives including corn starch,citric acid ,monosodium glutamate, maltodextrin, dextrose, sorbitol (liquid and powder ) , mannitol, xylitol, liquid syrup.
In the year 2002 , a synthetic chemical factory - Uchemi Co., Ltd. was founded, which mainly produce caustic soda (solid and liquid ) ,soda ash , sodium sulfate anhydrous .
In the year 2005 , another factory Utight Glue & Cellulose Co., Ltd. was invested, which mainly produce cellulose products.
In the year 2008 , in order to meet the market requirement, Uvita Pharmaceutical Co.,Ltd. was founded ,which can provide kinds of vitamins .
In the year 2009, KUGC successfully integrated two holding companies, Vlau Tire and Vlau Music.
